Everywhere you go, the jungle around Siem Reap is cradling the stone history of this place. Our guide was charming and knowledgeable; an expert local who loves people and his job. We wandered the many sites where a thousand years of human creativity and architecture are in abundant evidence.
Up early and a great buffet with noodle soup and noodles stir fry. Then our guide Mr Sam so picked us up at 8:00 and off we went to see about six of the 250 temples in Sam reap. 54 towers, snakes, dogs, monkeys, chickens, good and evil representations.
